Notes
This image was one of two made on the same night in January. The full Moon hindered and it was necessary to split the evening into two, first capturing this one and then moving on to the Cone Nebula once the target had dropped too low and disappeared behind neighbouring houses.
The weather has been sub-zero for several days and, although the jet stream winds are high and potentially disruptive, the sky conditions have been remarkably good: stable and transparent with minimal cloud.
Integration time (running total):
* HA 19 X 300s (95m)
* SII 18 X 300s (90m)
* OIII 18 X 300s (90m)
* Total: 4h35m
