Towards the end of its visit to the sun. Very low in the West and getting dimmer by the day.

I used the old method of comet alignment rather than Adam Block’s newer one. It was a struggle to get the colours looking vaguely right (no guarantee that this image is accurate) and there were lots of artefacts to handle too. I made the mistake of trying to lucky image because the comet was low in the sky and ended up with 620 mono images to stack! PixInsight’s Fast Batch Pre-Processing stacked in less than 4 mins however. In retrospect, I think fewer longer exposures might have worked better and would certainly have been easier to process.
