Notes

Imaged over the course of two nights, 9th and 10th January 2025. The poor seeing caused by the fast jet stream was mitigated by shooting this target close to the zenith. The nebula lies at approximately 12,000 light years with gas clouds lit by the radiation from the open star cluster NGC1893 that lies at its centre. Processed using the Hubble palette.
