Notes

This beautiful globular cluster was easy to find, even in the moonlit sky, approximately one-third the distance from Arcturus to Cor Caroli. A truly stupendous sight of a deep sky object which is estimated to be 11.5 billion years old.

West is to the left of the image and North towards the bottom.

Sketched at the eyepiece in pencil on white paper then inverted digitally.
